Our Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) Basic RiderCourse is a two day class for those who want to learn how to ride a motorcycle. We start the course in our classroom learning safety concepts and the basics of motorcycle operation. We then offer hands on riding experience, providing newer training motorcycles on our certified range. Students who successfully complete this course receive a waiver card that meets the Secretary of State requirement for adding a motorcycle endorsement to a valid driver’s license. This class costs $299.00
Returning Rider Basic RiderCourse
This one day class is for students who already have a basic knowledge of motorcycle operation. This class is perfect for those who have been riding with a T.I.P. and are in need of an endorsement. Our instructors guide students through an interactive classroom component before spending a concentrated time on our training motorcycles. Students who successfully complete this course receive a waiver card that meets the Secretary of State requirement for adding a motorcycle endorsement to a valid driver’s license. This class costs $199.00
We continue to offer the Motorcycle Safety Foundation Advanced RiderCourse (ARC). This class should be mandatory for all motorcyclists! Our nationally certified RiderCoaches will spend 3-4 hours in a dynamic classroom setting discussing perception, risk offset, cornering and braking techniques as well as decision making. Lunch is provided before an afternoon on the range where students use their own motorcycles, participating in 9 exercises. These proven exercises enhance skills such as body position during corners and swerves, threshold braking and cornering techniques, in addition to other safe riding methods. Students participating in this course should have a skill level high enough for basic motorcycle control. Instructors will guide students through a brief inspection of their motorcycle to ensure its safe use in the course. Qualified students must also possess a motorcycle endorsement and provide proof of insurance for the motorcycle ridden. This class costs $199.00
